These terms apply to all valuations and purchases conducted by Gold Valuation Southport.
1. No Online Purchases
This website does not facilitate e-commerce.
All transactions and final valuations are conducted in person, either at our Lord Street showroom or during a scheduled home visit.
2. Home Valuation Service
- Verification: For the safety of our staff, we require a valid telephone number and address to confirm all home appointments.
- Professional Discretion: We reserve the right to decline a home visit and request an in-showroom appointment instead.
- No Obligation: All home visits are provided as a free service with no pressure to sell.
3. The Valuation Process
- Total Transparency: We weigh and test your items in front of you using trade-certified scales.
- Items Never Leave Your Sight: We do not send items away for testing; the valuation is completed on the spot.
- Market Fluctuations: Gold and silver prices change daily. Any quote provided is based on the market rate at the time of the physical valuation.
4. Identification Requirements
To comply with UK law, we require valid photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) and proof of address for all items we purchase.
5. Payment
If an offer is accepted, we provide immediate payment via Cash or Bank Transfer on the same day.
