We then calculate the value based on the current live gold spot price, less a small margin. We always show you the scales and explain the calculation openly in front of you.

Many items have hallmarks stamped on them — numbers like 375 (9ct), 585 (14ct), 750 (18ct), or 916 (22ct). However, don't worry if you can't find a hallmark. Bring everything in and we will test it professionally for free. Even costume jewellery is welcome — we'll tell you honestly what it is.
